Come join Greater Good Charities Rescue Rebuild program in Bowling Green, Kentucky, at the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society. There, we'll be converting existing play yards to allow them to be used for playgroups to socialize the dogs, and building new play yards to make sure every dog can get outside to run! We'll even be building a catio so that cats can get fresh air too!
Dates: October 13th - October 24th, 2021
No construction experience is necessary; Rescue Rebuild is more than happy to teach you all you will need to know! We've got the tools, the safety equipment, and we'll be providing water and lunches.
The nature of work will vary, but here are some of the tasks to be expected:
Painting drywall
Installing FRP walls
Assembling dog kennels
Digging holes for dog play yard fence
Installing dog play yard fence (Chain-link)
Installing chain-link pet relief areas (Chain-link)
Assembling PVC pet furniture
Painting cat enrichment (shelves/ cubbies)
Installing cat enrichment
We are requiring that all of our volunteers are vaccinated and can provide proof of vaccination when arriving on site.
